Adriana is the CEO of the Impact Economy Foundation (IEF) and a Partner at Granito Group.
In December 2011 Adriana became the first woman President & CEO of GE in Brazil, contributing to the successful establishment in Latin America of GE’s fifth Global Research Center. From August 2013 to July 2015 she acted as Vice President for Government Affairs & Policy for GE in all Latin America.
Before GE Adriana served as Government Relations Director at Intel Brazil and as Strategic Affairs Director at the American Chamber of Commerce for Brazil. She also served as political advisor at the U.S. Embassy in Brasília.
Worked as a United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) research assistant at the Institute for Applied Economic Research (IPEA), a Brazilian think tank linked to the Ministry of Planning, Development and Management; and at the Secretariat for Strategic Affairs at the Cabinet of the President of Brazil.
Graduated in Political Science from University of Brasília (UNB). She was nominated one of the “10 Most Powerful Businesswomen in Brazil” (Forbes), “Top 50 Businesswomen in Latin America” (Latin Trade Group), “100 Most Respected Brazilian Leaders” (Exame Magazine), and one of the “10 Most influential Brazilians on LinkedIn” (LinkedIn). In 2013 she received the “Entrepreneur Woman of the Year” award (LIDE), and in 2014 the “Ordem do Mérito Aeronáutico” (Brazilian Air Force).
A founding member of “Midas", a networking group of women in government and institutional affairs, she also collaborated with "Mujeres Del Pacifico”, created to promote women entrepreneurship & innovation in Latin America, was a very active member of the GE Women Network, and a champion of GLBTA. Passionate about promoting innovation, from 2012 to 2015 she served as a leader at Brazil's National Confederation of Industry’s (CNI) Business Mobilization for Innovation (MEI).
She is a LinkedIn Influencer, a member of the board of America Solidaria US, and of the United Nations Association USA-Miami Chapter, as well as co-founder of the Berlin Future Forum Verien, a non-profit for the multidimensional transformation of humanity in the 21st century.
Adriana is married and has two sons.
